The benefits of doing business locally - do you really know your neighbor?

I am continually amazed by how little I know about the businesses that I drive past on a weekly basis... and trust me that I am an unusually inquisitive individual!  Sometimes, giving me insight can be as simple as hanging a sign in front of the business or updating the existing sign to include a bit of what they do or benefits of stopping in.
Whereas Brandom Cabinets does not have a street that is well traveled on a main thorough faire, our signs let visitors know that they are in the right place.  Still, relatively few people in our small town are aware that they have a cabinet manufacturer in their back yard!  Of course, a great many of our staff members live in the immediate area and spread the work of their employment to friends and family... but how well do you know your neighbor?

Brandom's heritage of providing quality wood cabinetry to Designers and Builders through our network of Dealers stretches back more than 58 years.  When we visit conventions and tradeshows like KBIS (the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show - http://www.kbis.com/) we are pleasantly surprised by how many visitors have heard of our small to mid-sized company.  Based about 1 hour south of Dallas, TX we are a neighbor to many kitchen & bath showrooms, builder headquarters, etc. in the regional area.  Recently, Brandom Cabinets was host to the business leaders in our town of Hillsboro, TX where we were able to showcase our manufacturing capabilities and share a bit about our workforce.  We informed them that we offer local pick-up for regional customers to save shipping costs, technical support in the field for installation questions & warranty help for issues within driving distance, and sales support and training from our sales management for new Dealers.  Just mentioning these few benefits, they could see why getting to know their neighbor just might benefit them with more than just being able to borrow a cup of sugar!

Our current initiatives include updating our popular website (www.brandom.com) to include facility photos, location mapping, and more information about employment with Brandom.  Do you know any neighbors that might benefit from knowing us?  Let them know that they can follow our Blog or get additional information on our website.  Be sure to bookmark our website to re-visit us after our changes are posted to become better acquainted with Brandom... who knows, we just might be your neighbor!

Custom Option Program - Designers and Builders have options!

For more than 2 years, Brandom Cabinets has enjoyed a wildly successful program that side-kicks the Brandom Collection to provide custom pieces that match the cabinetry offered in the collection.  Offering the same great value to match the catalog pieces, Brandom has been able to offer project designers, builders, and dealers a “one-stop-shop” to deliver a complete order from one manufacturer.
Brandom’s Custom Option Program was born from necessity and “driven by the voice of our customers” says Robin Ward, Customer Service Manager for Brandom.  “Too many of our designers were having to source the custom pieces from a different manufacturer, managing the delivery and installation, and handling separate billing for one job.   We heard their need to consolidate their orders to one supplier.”
Now, with the successful launch of the program, Brandom is able to offer the ability to quote individual needs, usually within 48 hours of receipt.  Customers need only to submit drawings or specs via email and confirm that the terms are agreed upon when they receive it back.  Brandom even submits the confirmation in the customer’s choice of ways – email, fax, or phone call.  With the customer choosing the method of quote delivery, they can speed up the ordering process to allow for the Custom Option cabinets to be delivered with the rest of the order when it is placed.
Brandom Cabinets continues to push the envelope of flexible order options for designers, builders, and dealers in their network.  When interacting with the many partners they currently supply, communication is placed as a primary focus to ensure a good experience each and every time.
Learn more about the Custom Option Program by visiting our website at www.Brandom.com where you can request dealer information to include the Custom Options available when placing orders.  As Brandom nears 60 years in the cabinet manufacturing business, it is nice to know that they continue to place the needs and requests of the designers, builders, and dealers at the front of their vision.

More than selection... service and quality weighs in!

Kitchen and bathroom designers and affiliated contractors have many choices in the marketplace for cabinetry.  So how do they choose a partner?  Is selection the most important consideration?  What about customer service before, during, and after the sale?  Quality?  We think we offer the best mix all of the above.

Introducing Brandom Cabinets, a small to mid-sized cabinet manufacturer based in Hillsboro, TX.  Offering a surprisingly wide variety of wood, finish, and construction combinations - Brandom proves that being in business more than 58 years requires more than just selection.  Recent additions to the product line to include additional paint colors, faux finishes and more continue to expand the growing catalog.

Pride in service before, during, and after the sale is a cornerstone ideaology helping to separate Brandom from the rest of the industry.  Recent expansion of the service platform to include a new CRM shared file system allows all the service personnel to work as one unit - a truly seamless interface of information from one agent to another.  The ability to be educated as to the last known inquiry on file, status of the request, and conveyance of the customer's need to the manufacturing and shipping side of the business has been met with initial applause from customers and dealers alike.

Improvements in the Quality Assurance Program has yielded argueably the best looking and durable painted maple in the business.  Brandom also paints poplar wood on a limited availablity basis providing an option in jobs that don't have such regimented finish expectations.  Further improvements include instatement of tighter cleaning and maintenance schedules in the finish department to ensure that airborne debris or mechanical failure does not hinder the overall finish quality.

What is most important?  Selection?  Value proposition?  Customer service?  Quality of the finished product?  The answer is ALL of the above... Brandom certainly stands out as a strong partner in a virtual sea of providers.  Nice to see an american owned and operated company that still puts the customer first.
